GoHeavy Driver & Heavy-Lifter Requirements

FOR DRIVERS

  • Have a valid driver’s license, your own vehicle, and proof of valid insurance. All applicants must check with their insurance company to verify that coverage is applicable to services being rendered.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age and have at least one year of safe driving experience if over the age of 23.
  • Have at least three years of safe driving experience if under age of 23. Safe driving is defined as no moving violations such as DUIs or reckless driving in the last seven years and no more than 3 minor violations such as speeding or failure to obey traffic laws in the last 3 years.
  • Have a 4 seat/4 door car, pickup truck, SUV, minivan, cargo van or box truck that is 2006 model or newer — may vary by city. Proof of registration is required.
  • Have an iPhone 4 or newer or Android Smartphone 2013 or newer.
  • Ability to pass a background check, including DMV (Department of Motor Vehicles) records.
  • Ability to safely lift between 50-75 lbs.

FOR HEAVY-LIFTERS

  • Be at least 18 years of age.
  • Have at least one year of safe driving experience – no moving violations, reckless driving or more than 3 minor traffic violations.
  • Have a valid driver’s license and auto insurance. A copy of your driver’s license and insurance required.
  • Able to safely lift 75 lbs.
  • Have a 4 seat/4 door car, pickup truck, SUV, minivan, cargo van or box truck that is 2006 model or newer — may vary by city. Proof of registration is required.
  • Have an iPhone4 or newer or Android Smartphone 2013 or newer.
  • Able to pass a background check, including DMV (Department of Motor Vehicles) records.
